1. Unfold on flat grass, patio, or balcony. Clear any sharp debris first.

2. Inflate the rim with any standard air pump (electric pump fills it in about 2 minutes).

3. Fill with 3 to 4 inches of water from a garden hose. That's the sweet spot — cool without floating.

4. Lay back. Rotate every 20 minutes if you're serious about an even tan.

5. When you're done, pull the drain plug, let it empty, and hang to dry before folding.

How much water does it need?

3 to 4 inches. A garden hose fills it in about 5 minutes. You're tanning, not swimming — shallow is the point.

Will it work on my apartment balcony?

Yes. Deflated it's the size of a folded towel, and filled it weighs far less than a standard kiddie pool. Check your balcony weight limit if you're unsure, but most handle it easily.

Can two people fit?

It's built for one adult to lay flat. Two people fit sitting up, but for full-body tanning, one per pool.

Do I need an air pump?

Any pump works — electric, hand, or foot pump. Electric gets it done in about 2 minutes. No pump? A hair dryer on cool with a bottle-neck adapter works in a pinch.

How do I keep the water clean?

Drain after each use or cover it overnight. For multi-day use, a capful of household bleach per fill keeps it fresh.

What if it gets a puncture?

Every pool ships with a repair patch kit. Most punctures seal in under 5 minutes and hold for the life of the pool.
